Sarah Begum is an international speaker who has spoken at various events around the world from the TEDx stage about her idea to invent the world’s first solar flying car to her story of becoming an Amazon Warrior Queen when she lived with an indigenous tribe to understand their culture and become a messenger to spread awareness about their plight to protect their land preserve the rainforest.

Presenter
Sarah Begum has explored unique parts of the world and presented interesting and informative content for networks around the world including the BBC, Discovery Channel, Channel 4, GHOne TV, Telesur and Space Channel as well as content for NGO’s, social impact and corporate companies, educational videos and hosted a podcast about the space sector interviewing NASA chief scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs. Sarah is open to opportunities presenting engaging STEM content.
In 2010, Sarah embarked on a pioneering expedition deep in the Ecuadorean Amazon rainforest to live with the Huaorani tribe and immerse in their way of life. The documentary she presented and produced, ‘Amazon Souls’ premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and was distributed worldwide.
Sarah then became a broadcaster and TV Presenter for a Ghanaian network known as EIB where she presented social impact stories in rural villages to places impacted by climate change and very often helped the people in her reports.
During 2020, Sarah became interested in STEM and was made a STEM Ambassador and later presented content for Space Channel in the USA such as reporting the first rover missions on Mars and a programme about enjoying space from Earth called, ‘Space Tourist’.
Sarah is interested in presenting content that is aligned with her objectives and that is relevant to the STEM industries.
Events Specialist
Sarah Begum has curated, organised and hosted many events ranging from humanitarian workshops worldwide empowering orphans bring their dreams to life through acting to helping refugees in Calais and students in Ethiopia become self-sustainable through entrepreneurship. Sarah co-set up and launched The Adventuress Club with Russ Malkin/ Big Earth to celebrate and empower women on adventures with purpose and she curated Film & TV networking evenings in London to help people in the industry collaborate on creative media projects. Sarah has also curated a pioneering ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) event for the space sector alongside Earthlight Foundation to help shape ESG policies for the space industry.
These were all star-studded events as Sarah secured exceptional speakers and individuals allowing them to share their wisdom with others.
With Unlimited Futures and her STEM-driven ventures, Sarah aims to create and host future aligned events for and with organisations to help solve world problems with the brightest minds in this space.
Global Humanitarian Events:
Alchemy World
Sarah was a Speaker & Facilitator at the Bright Futures event in Ethiopia where she delivered a workshop on networking in business to university students.
Calais Jungle
Sarah was a Speaker & Facilitator for a workshop about entrepreneurship for refugees at a refugee camp to use their existing skills and talents to offer their services and business to any country where they may be offered citizenship.
Hogar Bambi
Sarah was the Curator, Host and Facilitator for an intensive creative acting workshop designed for young orphans who were previously neglected and mistreated to help them to build confidence in themselves and in their dreams by acting as their future selves, with a focus on their career aspirations. Sarah received positive feedback from the entire orphanage with positive results for the orphans, transforming their perception of what is possible for them to achieve. By the end of the workshop, she was approached by an orphan who wanted to be adopted by her.
Real Gap/ Arajuno Road Project
Sarah was a Curator and Facilitator for an eco fashion show in English for young school children in the Amazon rainforest in Ecuador where she taught them to recycle old clothes from volunteers and embellish is with natural materials from the rainforest then model it for a local event. This allowed them to be creative with resources in their natural environment and build their confidence while learning English simultaneously.

Sarah Begum delivers her first TEDx talk about inventing the world's first solar powered

Ashesi University and Cambridge University, both as potential partners for the venture.
